BWD Engine Management manufactures and distributes a full line of engine management products, over 30,000, including parts for ignition systems, emissions, on-board computers, ignition wires, battery cables and fuel system parts for import and domestic vehicle. Today’s vehicles are controlled by a computer or computers, the brain of the vehicle. The computer controls everything from fuel flow to ABS braking.  This sophisticated computer system is designed to reduce emissions, maximize fuel economy and improve consumer comfort. The numerous vehicle control systems are like the body’s central nervous system; interrelated and controlled by multiple computers. These constantly monitor vehicle performance through a series of sensors located throughout the vehicle. Based on information received, the computers adjust the vehicle performance through a series of valves, switches and motors.
